Transfer Admissions Counselors

Arielle Kalvelage

Admissions Counselor

Arielle is a Paw Paw, Illinois native and NIU alumna. She loves the big-university resources and small-college feel NIU provides. “We host the perfect balance between strong academics, experiential and engaged learning and inclusive community ideals.”

She works closely with students, helping them find their place and setting them up to achieve success. “Life is never easy, but NIU has a great community of learners and doers who will help to make your transition to campus, and your educational experiences, as smooth as possible.

And in the end: “They [our students] make me proud. They show that hard work pays off.”
